The piston rings must be installed into the piston ring grooves in sequence, starting with the bottom oil ring. Use piston ring pliers to open the ring and insert it into the piston ring groove, but do not open it too wide, otherwise it may cause the ring to break or permanently deform.

The first ring is a bucket surface ring, with the outer surface treated with hard chrome plating or molybdenum spraying and finely crafted.

The second ring is usually a conical ring, and the marked side must be oriented towards the top of the piston during installation; An unmarked ring will have an inner step or inner chamfer facing upwards and an outer step facing downwards.

The third ring is usually a spiral support spring oil ring. When installing, the spiral support spring should be installed into the piston ring groove first, and then the ring body should be installed. The support spring joint should be located opposite the opening.

When assembling, the openings of each ring should be arranged in a "maze like" structure with staggered angles of 90 degrees, 120 degrees, and 180 degrees, and should not be placed at the piston pin; When installing the piston ring into the piston, lubricating oil that meets the requirements should be applied to the ring and ring groove.
